SmartPA becomes Official supporter of the Homeless World Cup Foundation

SmartPA will offer online training for Member Countries across the Homeless World Cup community.

The Homeless World Cup Foundation is delighted to announce a new partnership with SmartPA, who will become an Official Supporter of the organisation and provide free professional development training to the global Homeless World Cup Member Country network, 75 countries worldwide.

Through the partnership, SmartPA will offer accredited online training designed to develop professional administrative and workplace skills for participants across the Homeless World Cup community.

The programme will equip learners with practical skills including inbox management, diary organisation, client communication, problem solving and digital security. The training is delivered through short online modules and participants receive a certificate upon completion which can support future employment opportunities

The Homeless World Cup Foundation works with 75 Homeless World Cup Member Countries around the world, using football as a tool to help people experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives.

Alongside sport, the Foundation also supports participants in developing the confidence, skills and networks needed to move forward in education, employment and housing.

SmartPA’s support will allow members of the Homeless World Cup network to access professional training that strengthens employability and helps open new pathways beyond the pitch.

The Homeless World Cup Foundation works with 75 global Member Countries, our partners and their players will receive free access to SmartPA’s platform

Alastair Marks, CEO at the Homeless World Cup Foundation said:

“A key part of our work is ensuring the Homeless World Cup is not just a one-off moment but a starting point for longer-term change.

“The tournament can be transformational, but what matters most is what happens next, when players return home and begin building the next chapter of their lives.

“Partnerships like this are so important because they help create practical routes into learning, skills and opportunity and we’re delighted to be working with SmartPA to make that available across our global network of 75 Member Countries.”

Sarra Bejaoui, SmartPA’s CEO said about the partnership:

“We’re proud to support the Homeless World Cup Foundation and its extraordinary global community.

“Access to professional training can open doors, build confidence and create real opportunities for the future, and we’re delighted to help provide these pathways for people across the Homeless World Cup network.”

The training programme will be available to participants across the Homeless World Cup’s international network throughout the year.
