HOMELESS WORLD CUP UNITED JOIN WOMEN’S COMPETITION IN OSLO:
At the Homeless World Cup, our tournament is unique and the unpredictable nature of the teams we work with means that, on occasion, some nations are unable to travel due to financial challenges.
For Oslo 2025, we’ve introduced Homeless World Cup United – a team made up of local Women in Norway who deserve the opportunity to play football on a world stage and be part of this life-changing event.
This innovative approach ensures our tournament structure remains secure with 24 Women’s teams coming to Oslo, every team gets to play the same number of games, and all teams can keep competing right up to Finals Day on Saturday 30 August.
The Homeless World Cup is more than a game and Homeless World Cup United is more than just a football team – it’s a symbol of inclusion, opportunity and the belief that everyone should have the chance to play.
The Homeless World Cup is a world class sporting spectacle which has the power to change the lives of participants and shape attitudes towards the global issue of homelessness, using the universal language of football.
