MEXICO CITY 2026 HOMELESS WORLD CUP dates announced
The Homeless World Cup Foundation and the Mexico City 2026 Local Organising Committee have announced that the Mexico City 2026 Homeless World Cup will now take place from Sunday 17th January to Saturday 23rd January 2027.
Following ongoing planning discussions with the Mexico City 2026 Local Organising Committee and local partners, the updated dates ensure the 21st edition of the tournament can once again be hosted in Zócalo Square - one of the most iconic public spaces in world sport and culture, and home to the tournament in both 2012 and 2018.
The tournament will remain part of the 2026 Homeless World Cup cycle, with all branding, partnerships and competition plans continuing as scheduled.
Planning for the 21st edition of the Homeless World Cup is already well underway, with teams invited and preparations progressing across all areas of tournament delivery.
