Homeless World Cup Foundation team up with Scoreplay ahead of Oslo 2025 Homeless World Cup
The Homeless World Cup Foundation, which is preparing to host its 20th tournament from Saturday 23rd August in Oslo, is delighted to announce a new partnership with ScorePlay, a leading provider of AI-powered digital and media asset management solutions built specifically for the sports industry.
Through this partnership, ScorePlay will support the Homeless World Cup at the Oslo 2025 Homeless World Cup, enhancing the digital workflow of images taken throughout the tournament week. This will strengthen the Foundation’s output across platforms and ensure the very best moments — both on and off the pitch — are captured, shared, and celebrated globally.
With more than 500 players, 64 teams, and 48 nations competing in Norway’s capital city, the Homeless World Cup is one of the most inspiring football events in the world. ScorePlay’s platform will allow the tournament’s photography and communications teams to efficiently prioritise high-quality images for players, teams, partners, and sponsors - ensuring their stories reach audiences worldwide.
The partnership marks a significant step forward in elevating the Homeless World Cup as a major international sporting event and a permanent fixture on the global sports calendar.
Mel Young, Co-Founder and President of the Homeless World Cup Foundation, said: "Teaming up with ScorePlay on the eve of our 20th edition of the Homeless World Cup further cements the tournament as a major football event. We are incredibly excited to be working with ScorePlay. They already work with some of the biggest football clubs and tournaments in the world, so for the Homeless World Cup to now be partnering with them is absolutely amazing. We can’t wait to see the results in Oslo."
