Final four set to face off in Women’s Homeless World Cup

We have our final four.

In the women’s Homeless World Cup, 2011 women’s Homeless World Cup winners and  2025 African Women’s Cup hosts Kenya defeated Wales 8-1 to secure their spot in the semi-final. The Welsh women can walk with their heads held high: their finish as just one of two European teams in the last eight is their best ever.

Fellow Europeans Romania, who reached the 2024 final, also secured their spot in the last four with a 6-2 victory over Egypt’s women, the North Africans unable to match their male counterparts in making the semis.

Nine-time women’s Homeless World Cup champions Mexico - who have won the last seven in a row - saw off Ivory Coast 3-1.

And last but not least, Uganda, winners of the 2024 and 2025 Africa Women’s Cup,

reached the semi-final by beating India 10-1.

The semi-final ties will see Kenya face off against Mexico at 18.00 CET - a repeat of the 2011 final - and Uganda line up against Romania at 18.20 CET; all live on the FIFA+, Homeless World Cup YouTube, and  Eurovision Sport
