YOUNG DREAMS FOUNDATION
Young Dreams Foundation (YDF) is a youth-led non-profit organisation founded in 2016 in South Sudan. It was established to support vulnerable children and young people affected by poverty, displacement, and conflict, using sport - particularly football - as a tool for social inclusion, empowerment and hope.
YDF runs inclusive football programmes that promote social cohesion, life skills, and youth leadership. The foundation also delivers education support, child protection initiatives, and psychosocial and community engagement activities for vulnerable youth.
Football activities are currently delivered in Juba, including Gumbo, Sherikat, and Highland with plans to expand further as the organisation grows.
YDF has collaborated with international partners, including UNICEF, to deliver youth and child-focused sports initiatives in South Sudan.
