The Men’s Homeless World Cup features 40 teams, beginning with the first stage played over Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, where the teams are divided into eight groups of five.
The top three teams from each group progress to Stage 2, Section A, while the 4th and 5th placed teams move into Stage 2, Section B.
In Section A of the second group stage, 24 teams are split into four groups of six, with the top two advancing to compete for the Homeless World Cup trophy, 3rd and 4th teams will the Tier 2 trophy competition, with 5th and 6th contesting the Tier 3 trophy.
Meanwhile, in Section B of the second group stages for the Men’s teams, 16 teams form four groups of four, with the top two from each group playing for the Tier 4 trophy and the bottom two for the Tier 5 trophy.
In total, there are five trophies up for grabs on in the Men’s competition, ensuring every team has something to play for throughout the tournament.
On the Friday of the tournament, teams will play their Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals, leading to Finals Day on Saturday 30th August.

The Women’s Homeless World Cup features 24 teams, beginning with a first stage of four groups of six.
After the opening round, the top three teams in each group advance to Stage 2, Section A, while those finishing 4th, 5th and 6th move into Stage 2, Section B.
In Section A in the second group stage of the Women’s tournament, 12 teams form two groups of six, with the top four in each group qualifying to play for the Homeless World Cup trophy, and the 5th and 6th teams entering the Tier 2 trophy.
In Section B in the second group stage, 12 teams also form two groups of six, with the top two qualifying for the Tier 2 trophy and the remaining teams contesting the Tier 3 trophy.
On the Friday of the tournament, the knockout rounds begin with Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals, leading to Finals Day on Saturday 30th August.
