HOMELESS WORLD CUP FOUNDATION STRENGTHENS GLOBAL TOURNAMENT content THROUGH new AZZUU PARTNERSHIP
The Homeless World Cup Foundation is proud to announce that Azzuu has joined the Foundation as an Official Supporter.
Azzuu is one of the fastest-growing sports content and creative platforms in world sport, working with some of the biggest clubs, leagues, federations and sporting organisations globally including UEFA, FIFA, NBA Europe, the ATP, and the Premier League.
Azzuu’s platform is designed to help sports organisations create and distribute high-quality, real-time content faster and more effectively across social media, digital channels, sponsors, web, app and live events. The partnership will help transform how the Foundation capture and shares the stories of more than 500 players from around the world during the tournament and throughout the wider road to Mexico City 2026.
The partnership represents another major step forward for the Homeless World Cup Foundation as it continues building towards Mexico City 2026 and strengthening its position as a globally recognised football and social impact movement.
The platform’s multilingual and automation capabilities will also help the Foundation create content for international audiences more efficiently, allowing stories from players and Member Countries to travel further globally.
Azzuu is the ultimate tool for sports teams and sports bodies, working with both UEFA and FIFA supporting and creating consistent digital output
Azzuu Co-founder & CEO James Thomas said:
“We are delighted to support the Homeless World Cup Foundation and help amplify the incredible stories, communities and impact that sit behind the tournament.
Football has a unique ability to connect people around the world and we are excited to help the Foundation create faster, more engaging and more accessible storytelling throughout the journey to Mexico City 2026.”
Matthew Williams, Director of Marketing & Communications at the Homeless World Cup Foundation, said:
"We're incredibly proud to be working with Azzuu. As a small team, we rely heavily on the passion and expertise of our international volunteers during the tournament, so having a platform like Azzuu behind us will transform how we create and share the stories from the Homeless World Cup.
Every year, more than 500 players come together from across the world to represent their countries, and this partnership will help us tell their stories faster, more creatively and to a much wider global audience.
To be using the same platform trusted by some of the biggest organisations in world sport is a huge step forward for the Foundation. It reflects our ambition to keep raising the profile of the tournament and deliver world-class storytelling as we build towards Mexico City 2026."
The Homeless World Cup Foundation works across a network of 75 Member Countries using football to support people experiencing homelessness and social exclusion to rebuild confidence, purpose and opportunity.
Mexico City 2026 will mark the third time the tournament has been hosted in Mexico City and the 21st edition of the Homeless World Cup.
Every story shared is a reminder that change is possible.
