Poland v Scotland make a royal final

On Saturday 4 August 2008, 5.00pm  City Hall Square will see packed crowds cheer Poland or Scotland to glory in the final of the 5th annual Homeless World Cup, the international football tournament changing lives. HRH Crown Prince of Demark will attend the final supporting the tournament's mission to see football work as a trigger to inspire people who are currently homeless or excluded to change their lives for the better.

Speaking today at the semi-finals, Mel Young, President & Co-founder, Homeless World Cup said that the Copenhagen 2007 Homeless World Cup has been a tournament of "Lots of goals, fair play and suberb skill creating an outstanding football tournament.  Although I am totally neutral as the president of the Homeless World Cup, as a Scot, it is suberb that the team have made it to the final, they have done their country proud.  It will be very exciting to see them take on Poland who have been frequently in the top rankings since the beginning of the tournament in the company of HRH Crown Prince of Denmark. Both teams are true ambassadors for their countries."

Join us at the City Hall Square for an emotional finals day at the 5th Homeless World Cup.
