Thomson Financial Volunteers Win Award40 volunteers from Thomson Financial have been officially recognised for their fund-raising efforts and work at the Copenhagen 2007 Homeless World Cup.

The volunteers were one of many winners of the seventh annual Thomson Community Champion Awards, which recognises outstanding community service projects across Thomson. The awards were announced by Thomson President & CEO, Dick Harrington.

Each volunteer raised £100 through various fundraising activities, as well as rolling up their sleeves and working hard at the tournament to make it a success. To date, the volunteers have raised almost £7,000 and Thomson has matched the total amount raised.

The volunteers were awarded a prize of $1000, which will be donated to the Homeless World Cup.
