Birmingham University's Cup Support

Posted on 13/01/2008

Birmingham University hosted a tour of the Barclays Premiere League Cup around the student campus as part of a football fundraising day held in support of the Homeless World Cup.

Students were invited to have their photos taken with one of the world’s most recognised football cups for £5 with all money raised donated to the Homeless World Cup.  And all the retailers on campus also got behind the football cause selling T-shirts and collecting donations throughout the day.

Birmingham University is one of the top sports Universities in the UK and did not hesitate in getting behind the Homeless World Cup raising a grand total of £800.
