Haiti conquer hosts to claim Women's Plate

Haiti were too hot for hosts France as they hit double figures in a one sided tie.

The match was defined by the spectacular long range shooting utilised by the Haitians and an epic performance from their goalkeeper.

France toiled and although they made plenty of chances they were faced by a goalkeeper in fine form and unable to contain a fierce attacking display from the Haitians.

Enjoyed by a vocal crowd debutants France can be proud of their first ever tournament outing.
