Denmark secure the City Cup with victory over a battling USA side.
Brave US beaten by a strong Danish side.
In a thrilling first half the USA took an early lead through Idris Geyre before Mikkel Tandrup levelled for the Danish side Julio David Martinez put USA ahead once more but their lead was short lived as a flurry of Danish goals gave them a 7 – 3 half time lead.
Despite the US pulling 2 goals back they could not contain a Danish team who excellently controlled possession, in a hard fought match the USA defended valiantly but further strikes from Peter Schon Christiansen ensured the Danish team took a well deserved victory to claim the City Cup 9 – 5.
