Jobs in Sao Paulo: The Wig Kiosk
The Wig Kiosk is an initiative created with Nike and Architecture for Humanity to create job and income opportunities for homeless people in Sao Paulo.
The Wig Kiosk is a mobile sales unit that can be easily replicated and manufactured as part of the Homeless World Cup Enterprise Legacy.
An eco-friendly project with Wigs produced from cut off material from Brazil National Team shirts recycled to create the wigs that will be sold at football tournaments, festivals and mardi gras.
The Wig Kiosk legacy will create ten new jobs for homeless people in Sao Paulo, with an aim to increase to 100 jobs by the third year.
Key partners to the Homeless World Cup in this project are Nike and Drastosa – Nike’s manufacturer in Sao Paolo and Architecture for Humanity.
