The Homeless World Cup has won the ‘Jury's Favourite’ prize at the Sporsora Awards, given by the French Sports Marketing Association.

The Homeless World Cup has won the 'Jury's Favourite' prize at the Sporsora Awards, given by the French Sports Marketing Association.

The ceremony took place in the Theatre Marigny in central Paris last night and rewarded the most professional and most innovative sports marketing campaigns of the year.

Other winners included the French Golf Federation and hire car company Europcar.

Homeless World Cup Ambassador and former France player Patrick Mbeu collected the award on behalf of the Homeless World Cup.

Mel Young, President of the Homeless World Cup said: "We are honoured to have won this award in recognition of the work we do spreading awareness about the issue of global homelessness.

"I would like to thank the jury for their consideration for this prestigious award."
