As a way of demonstrating the work of our national partners and the relationship we have with UEFA, we have invited our partners to host an event with their players during the week of UEFA Grassroots Day.

UEFA Grassroots Day highlights the importance of grassroots football and emphasises UEFA's key messages that football is accessible to everyone and that healthy roots help the elite levels of the game flourish. 

Forty one of our partners signed up to take part by hosting either a training session; a mini tournament or football festival. Many of them have used this opportunity to invite other grassroots organisations to join with them and participate in the event, some have the additional support of their national FA to deliver the event whilst others have embraced the chance to demonstrate the excellent work they do week in week out to a global audience.
