Germany enjoy narrow defeat of Sweden

Germany secured third place in the INSP Networking Trophy following a tightly contested encounter.

The Germans had raced into a first half lead and the game looked to be beyond the Scandinavians 7-4 behind at half time.

However Sweden rallied in the second half and pushed the opposition close with some fine counter attacking football.

But Germany held on and added two second half goals as the game finished 7-9 in their favour.

A hard fought and deserved victory for Germany but full credit to Sweden who showed determination and grit to recover from their poor start to the game.
