Argentine superstar arrives to back his team
Argentina international footballer Javier Pastore visited the Champs de Mars today to support his nations’ Homeless World Cup players.
The Paris Saint-Germain centre-forward came to meet the Argentine players and wish them luck in the tournament.
A personal friend of Argentina coach Sergio Rotman, Pastore moved to the French capital this summer when he made a £37M transfer to PSG.
He said: “The event is fantastic, very interesting and I have come here to meet the players and offer them my support.
“I hope that the players are enjoying the opportunity football gives them to change their lives. Football can take you away from many problems and help you to meet new people.”
