Day 2 report by David Gillespie

Day 2 in sunny one minute, rainy the next Copenhagen. But the rain hasn’t dampened anyone’s spirits. The morning started with a press conference attended by Mel Young (Founder of the Homeless World Cup), Mikkel Warming (Mayor of Copenhagen), and Charlotte Williams (Deputy Mayor of Cape Town).

Parade report by David Gillespie

The Homeless World Cup kicked off in Copenhagen with a bang and the beat of samba music as 48 countries and 500 players led a parade from the Dan Hostel to the town hall square. They really let the people of Copenhagen know that the Homeless World Cup had arrived.
