OLTALOM SPORT ASSOCIATION PREPARING FOR MILAN 2009 WITH ROMANIA’S TEAM
In june 12th the Oltalom Sports association team and its representatives , traveled to Timisoara in Romania to play a friendly game to strengthen the relation ship between the two countries and promote border integration and to fight segregation and bring a message of peace. This was also a good opportunity to prepare both teams for the Homeless World Cup in Milan 2009. The relationship between the two organization began in the 2008 Melbourne Homeless World Cup since them the two associations have been in constant contact and working together to full fill their social goals and to open the way to understanding , cooperation and to ban forever segregation and racism.
The match took place in the city of Timisoara . After a very long trip arriving late, we were treated by the Romanian team and the organizers in a very friendly way, all activities developed in a environment of friendship and brotherhood between the two teams and nations. The teams showed the audience of the game that living in tolerance respect and understanding and the value of playing in a team and working together for a common goal. What better opportunities to express this message than sport; football a sport that is able to bind people and create differences
The Romanian team manager Mihaita built a professional pich by his own hands the same like it is on the Homeless World Cup, all the field and the organization where fantastic.
After the game we were invited to a dinner by the Romanian team and organizers Then we went back to Budapest to continue with our preparation schedule for the 2009 World Cup In a near future another cross border game will occur in the Hungarian border city of Mako This will help the two team to be prepared for the 2009 World Cup , but what is the most important of all is to spread the message of integration , unity and peace to the people of our countries this way building a better Europe and better world for tomorrow
