Melbourne ambition for Zambia

Team Zambia have a clear goal for Melbourne 2008 Homeless World Cup: To become peer educators to encourage young players in Garden compound and nearby communities. And to be Soccer Ambassadors for the Zambia nation.
They have a training programme in action for the players to make this happen.
Training Programme:
2 Sessions: (Session 1: 90 mins 9.00-10.30) (Session 2: 90 mins, 1400 – 1530)
Theory and Practical
Day 1: Street Soccer Introduction and Rules Learning and Reading the game and the coaching process
Day2: Physical Fitness, Principles of a training session (demo) Principle of 4 v 4 (video) 4 v 4 Game
Day 3: Technical Insight and Communication (TIC) – Course Group work Preparation of Training sessions Teaching 4 v 4
Day 4: Principles of teaching – Coaching of Youth Female Players – individual play Tasks and Functions in 4 v 4 Coaching players
Day 5: Variation in 4 v 4 – restrictions on play Coaching of Female Youth Players – Team Play
Day 6: Street Soccer League Fixtures
