The Welsh Dragons are organised by Street Football Wales which is an unincorporated voluntary organisation governed by a Constitution. Street Football Wales promotes social inclusion through the use of sport and provide socially excluded people not only the opportunity to play football on a monthly basis but also to develop a multitude of life skills including discipline, timekeeping, commitment and teamwork. Final Position: Milan 2009 - 33rd (Community Cup Winners); Melbourne 2008 – Unable to attend, Copenhagen 2007 – 31st, Capetown 2006 – Unable to attend, Edinburgh 2005 – 17th, Gothenburg 2004 – 11th, Graz 2003 – 17th.

Welsh Dragons - Last minute update!

With just 4 days to go until the Welsh Dragons fly out to Milan the team are experiencing nerves and excitement in equal measure! Before we go, we will provide here an update, including an amended squad update as there are a couple of players attending the tournament who have replaced some of the original line up due to unavoidable circumstances.

Welsh Dragons 2009 - Update

The Welsh team has now been selected (which really wasn’t easy!) and preparations are well under way. We have had 4 training sessions, which are going very well. The team is training harder than any team before and Lee and I are excited about working with them over the next couple of months. The players themselves are also very excited although I'm not sure they are fully aware of what they had let themselves in for...
