Homeless in Healthy Sweden

Sweden has homeless people. Why? This is a question that we wish we had an answer to.
Sweden is known as a healthy and rich country, but yet we have problems with people being homeless and excluded from society.
There are many “holes” in the system and it´s very easy to fall out but very hard to find your way back.
The football has been a great help for many and a new way for people to be able to take charge over their own lives.
Right now about 20 people practise twice a week, in both Stockholm and Gothenburg. The football has definitely helped these people to find new motivation in life and to feel better about themselves.
In Gothenburg the team is playing in a league and they try to watch professional games as often as they can.
Even if they won't be able to join the Swedish team for the Homeless World Cup they enjoy practise and have set other goals such as becoming coaches, health therapists and studies.
The football is and has been life changing for many people!!!
