Team Sierra Leone make an exciting debut at the Melbourne 2008 Homeless World Cup. Organised by the Youth Movement for Peace and Non-Violence; a non-profit non-political youth-serving agency launched late 2001. The idea of its formation was to affect a culture of non-violence, especially amongst youth who became victims and perpetrators of the decade old civil conflict in our country. International Footballer Mohamed Kallon who has played for inter Milan (ITALY), Monaco (FRANCE) and is currently the NATIONAL captain of the Leones Stars, but at the moment clubless has consented to help promote Team Sierra Leone.

The National Director has signed yesterday 13th June 2008 an agreement with Cleanheart Water PROJECT for the promotion of Team Sierra Leone at the Melbourne 2008 Homeless World Cup.
