Portugal’s third assault on the Homeless World Cup came after a strong performance two years when they lost to a resurgent England in the Big Issue Scotland Trophy final in Edinburgh. After the training course in Luso, the Portuguese team leaves Portugal to join the other 47 countries that will participate in the V Homeless World Cup, which will take place from the 29th July to the 4th August.

Portuguese streesoccer team was presented on the 20th July, at 16 o’clock, at the CARRIS Museum, from where the participantes leave for a tram trip by Lisbon.

Ana Ferreira is a 16 year old female, Portuguese (from Aveiro) player. With a poor education characterised by truancy she has experienced emotional and family issues having been homeless since early childhood.
