A Brief Explanation of the team Junior Achievement Paraguay

Junior Achievement Paraguay is a team put together by Fundación Paraguay through their Junior Achievement program, which teaches and promotes entrepreneurship education to students of all ages in Paraguay. Students take part in programs designed to increase their understanding of the economic world around them through ‘learning-through-doing’ sessions. Fundación Paraguaya is a leading social enterprise that was founded in 1985 by Martin Burt.

8 Students from the Education Center of the Mbaracayú Reserve Preparing for RIO!

The final 8 girls for “Junior Achievement Team Paraguay” have been selected for the 2010 Homeless World Cup. The team consists of the following players: Victorina Barrios Martinez, Paola Benitez, Raquel Eiragui, Paulina Mbyuangi, Rufina Tatugi, Silvia Elizabeth Toledo Farina, Rocio Franco Bogado y Maria Lucila Aguillera Galeano. The girls were selected based on a diverse set of criteria that included their backgrounds, attitude, commitment, passion for soccer, and soccer ability.

Throughout the year Team Paraguay will have a selection process for the players in which in addition to the the physical training, practises and theoretical football lessons, the aspiring player will be instructed with the Junior Achievement programs.
