Happiest team on their hopes for the Future

Months of training will be augmented with a stern competitive test in the third Big Issue Namibia Street Soccer Tournament to select the national team
Played on an inflatable court in Windhoek, the tournament now attracts teams, including private companies, from all over Namibia. As well as raising the profile of the Namibian team, the event, played under Homeless World Cup rules, is an ideal preparation for the players. For coach Bethuel Uirabsuccess in the Homeless World Cup is not down to winning alone: “In Edinburgh 2005 we were declared the Happiest Team of the tournament. Besides winning, that is our second main goal when we go to the Homeless World Cup!”
