Team Namibia is organised by The Big Issue Namibia beginning the street soccer programme in 2004. It now operates in Windhoek and Ondangwa involving 10 teams and 70 players in drug rehabilitation battling poverty. Every year Team Namibia are a smash hit with the crowd for their pace, skill and passion and love of music. Missed in Copenhagen they will be back with pitch passion at the Melbourne 2008 Homeless World Cup. World Ranking: Cape Town - 29th; Edinburgh 2005 - 14th; Gothenburg 2004 - 19th
