Street Soccer Mexico A.C. organizes Team Mexico. With the support from Fundación Telmex they work colaboratively with many organisations that serve vulnerable groups around the country. Institutions and civil organisations participate enthusiastically organizing tournaments and training sessions for the players - young kids living in shelters, recovery homes or marginalized communities. The work to Rio 2010 Homeless World Cup will involve many more states across the country with more than 30 tournaments taking place before the final team is selected to represent Mexico. Delta uses sport, especially football, to stress the importance of commitment and, by providing coaching and financial assistance, helps the players overcome their problems and beat homelessness.
