Homeless or Happiness, sport can make the difference

Goue Lydie, a player of the Ivory Coast football team, is calling all homeless people in the Ivory Coast to come join their association and practice football. “For me football has therapeutic virtues,” said Goue.
“Once you set foot in the door, you focus your goals, respect your program and strive to not miss a training,” she said.
Sport can be something healthy and to make you happy rather than focusing on being homeless.
“The more you move, the more endorphins your body will release and these generate a real sense of pleasure,” Goue said.
Team Ivory Coast is organised by DON'T FORGET THEM with street soccer projects in Abidjan and 9 other cities uniting street youth confronted by homelessness, drugs, poverty and prostitution. To learn more about the Ivory Coast team visit www.homelessworldcup.com/groups/ivory-coast
