Fifteen people selected from League of Change, were reunited for a selection process to a final eight players of Indonesia team for Homeless World Cup 2012 in Mexico City. Players gathered in Rumah Cemara office in Bandung coming from eight different provinces, Banten; DI Yogyakarta; DKI Jakarta; East Java; North Sumatera; South Kalimantan; South Sulawesi; and West Java. These candidates represent communities of people living with HIV, people who use drugs, people who are on Methadone, and people living with disadvantages.
Players went through series of physical training, game play and in-depth interview by five of our panelists, including Ginan and Bogiem the former HWC team players in Paris 2011, and Adym, our last year’s coach.
