The “Goal sti ftohia” campaign (meaning “Kick off Poverty” in Greek) was launched in September 2006. Based on and inspired by the Homeless World Cup, a group of enthusiastic people, keenly supported by Galera Magazine (a publication focusing on social issues) joined the ranks of Greek people who are committed to the global fight against homelessness and social exclusion.
