Final Preparations for Copenhagen

Streetpaper HEMPELs and drug rehab. center Odyssee have invited Team Germany for final preparations from 25th to 27th of July to Kiel. Coach Dieter Hollnagel will talk over the final tactics, the team will play a few matches against local streetsoccer teams. In the afternoon of the 27th the team will leave Kiel for Copenhagen by bus.

The 2007 German streetsoccer champions are Jugendwerksiedlung Hannover, the team that won in the final against Odyssee Kiel, the 2006 champions. The final score 5:4.

Stuttgart 01st and 2nd of June: 24 teams from all parts of Germany will play for the German Streetsoccer-Championships and the tickets for the German national Homeless Worldcup - side that will travel to Copenhagen. The German Association of Streetpapers and the local organizer, Streetpaper Trott-war from Stuttgart published a 40-page brochure with photographs and stories of the participating teams as well as comments from sponsors and celebrities. 1st Division - VfB Stuttgart professional Mario Gomez: "The German Streetsoccer Championships are a great symbol for the importance of an inclusive society. I wish all spectators, organizers and participants a wonderful, a fair and unforgettable soccer-event".
