Team Czech Republic is put together by the SANANIM NGO, the largest non-governmental organization in the Czech Republic specialized in providing complex drug services. They have since grown the football programme to include a national tournament with 12 teams competing to represent their country at the Homeless World Cup.

The Homeless World Cup Qualifications for the soccer team to represent Czech Republic were held in Prague. After six and a half hours of fighting for the cup and some tough competition, Hrálo came out on top to win the qualifications.

Players for FC Sananim who represented the Czech Republic at the Homeless World Cup Cape Town 2006 have won the National Qualifications which took place on 1 June 2007.

The first ever Czech Republic national selection for the Copenhagen 2007 Homeless World Cup will take place on June 1. Six teams have registered, mainly drug users currently in community treatment, young Romanies from migrating families and clients of the Salvation Army.
