MEET SRENG

Eight young Cambodian men will make the trip of a lifetime to compete at the Paris 2011 Homeless World Cup next month. Meet one of the stars, Sreng Hem.
Sreng was born in 1994 but was orphaned when his parents passed away early in his childhood.
He lived with his aunt for many years until she became unable to care for him any longer and in 2006 he was moved to a hostel for young people.
He tries hard to continue his studies and volunteers his to time work at the hostel. He loves football and has been a keen player since he joined Homeless World Cup national partner Happy Football Cambodia Australia (HCFA) the organisers of Team Cambodia.
His talent and hard work has seen midfielder Sreng selected for the Cambodia team to play at the Paris 2011 Homeless World Cup to be held at the Champs de Mars, Paris, France from 21-28 August 2011.
