Team Cambodia is a newcomer at the Melbourne 2008 Homeless World Cup. The national team is organised by HFC (Happy Football Cambodia) which was established in November 2005 by Khun Sokrin and Paraic Grogan. Its aims are simple, to give poor children in Phnom Penh, the capital city, and beyond the opportunity to play the beautiful game in a safe environment. HFC works with several organizations in Phnom Penh that already have a relationships with young people who have lived on the streets, young people who have slipped through the cracks and are amongst the 10,000 street children who have or are making their living from scouring the rubbish dumps for plastic to sell, young people who as a last resort beg, steal or prostitute themselves to survive another day.

Happy Football Cambodia is tacking challenges and dribbling its way round any obstacles to bring a national team from Cambodia to the Melbourne 2008 Homeless World Cup for the very first time.
