Team Cambodia was a newcomer at the Melbourne 2008 Homeless World Cup and is eager to repeat this great experience in Milan. The national team is organised by HFCA (Happy Football Cambodia Australia) in partnership with HFC (Happy Football Cambodia). HFCA/HFC aims are simple, to give poor children in Phnom Penh, the capital city, and beyond the opportunity to play the beautiful game in a safe environment. We works with several organizations in Phnom Penh that already have a relationships with young people who have lived on the streets, young people who have slipped through the cracks and are amongst the 10,000 street children who have or are making their living from scouring the rubbish dumps for plastic to sell, young people who as a last resort beg, steal or prostitute themselves to survive another day.
Final Position; Milan 2009 - 42nd (Bravery Cup Winners); Melbourne 2008 - 43rd.

Belgium lead the game, and in the second half Cambodia fought back from 7-1 down and goal keeper Viet Kung made impressive saves to keep them in the match. The final score was 8 - 5 to Belgium.
