The Futebol Social organisation is a street paper which is a member of the ISPN network. The project provides sports and social training for players at a regional level and organises local tournaments across Brazil.

The men's and women's teams for the Homeless World Cup are selected at a final national event which brings together winning regional teams from all around the country.
In addition to football training, participants are expected to perform mandatory exercises to aid their integration into society, including education, friendship and social awareness.
Futebol Social connects social entities from the whole country and organizes a national movement. All the participating teams develop regular activities with marginalized people that live under miserable housing situation. Their main goal is promoting motivation and integration among players, families, social projects and communities and promoting entrepreneurship and leadership.
