On the evening of Friday May 25th, Dunfermline Building Society organised a race night in order to raise funds for the Homeless World Cup Foundation.

The evening formed part of their fundraising efforts to hit the entry fee for the Kinetic 5s Glasgow corporate 5-a-side tournament on June the 16th. Everyone who attended the race night enjoyed a brilliant night of laughter, fun and generosity.

After 9 races, an Irish tombola and a few drinks, the total raised on the night was over £1,000.

Dunfermline Building Society Complaint Handler and Kinetic 5s goalkeeper Stuart Glancey said: "This is an amazing result and we could not be happier."

Dunfermline Building Society is planning on putting together even more fundraising events before the big day on June 16th

On Friday, May 11th 2012 over 22 football players from Dunfermline Building Society took to the field to decide which 8 would represent them in the up and coming Kinetic 5s Glasgow event on June 16th.

The heavy rain earlier in the day certainly didn't dampen their spirits and the match went ahead encapsulating an atmosphere of fun while still being of a very high standard.

Staurt Glancy of Dunfermline Building Society said: "It's great to be here today and hopefully I will be one of the lucky 8 playing in the Kinetic 5s next month. It's a great opportunity to support a great cause!"
