When both the Gambian and the Afghanistan players haves quick feet, the game was fast and filled with maze dribbles. Good defensive play and fantastic saves by both of the teams was the only reason, why this game was not packed with one goal after the other. Although both teams had their chances, both clear shots and strikes for goal, the players from Afghanistan were just more efficient, and by half time they were ahead 4 to 0 against Zambia.
In second half Afghanistan again thrilled their loyal supporters with heal passes, tight control of the ball, and well-placed strikes for goal. But as Zambia scored two quick goals, they were yet again back in the game, however it was to late to win the game.Jane Stoffregen
