Hong Kong has defeated the USA in a penalty shoot-out following a fast paced match.
The two teams were well matched, but the penalty shoot-out saw Hong Kong win the game 4-5.
The first half of the game was eventful with Hong Kong's Chun Fat Hui scoring the first goal.
Soon after the US goalkeeper hit the ground and had to be stretchered off suffering a back injury. The game was further delayed as the replacement goalie struggled to find a shirt that fit his well built frame.
With the game underway again the US displayed excellent ball passing skills, and managed to inch ahead, but Kwok Fu Leung responded quickly with a sneaky goal that which once again tied up the game.
Refusing to give up in the first half, Cornelius Cruz lead the US ahead once again with a goal just before the half time whistle.
In the second half Hong Kong fought hard to get ahead again, and managed to tie up the game at 4 all after almost 5 minutes of going back and forth.
Kwok Fu Leung scored a fantastic goal in the penalty shoot-out, and goalkeeper Siu Fung Cheung won the game for Hong Kong showing a great block against American Cornelius Cruz.
Hong Kong is now in second place in group A, and will move forward into section one of the next round.
