USA and Greece put on a thrilling display of football today as they showed skill and passion on the pitch. USA went 2-0 up after 2 minutes with both teams having chances on goal, but the Greeks unable to put their opportunities away. USA were proving tough to break down with some fantastic defencive work and it took a spectacular goal for Greece to peg one back. Greece had a penalty saved before their number 7 made it 2-2 five minutes and twenty seconds into the game. USA's number 11 led by example in the fight back, proving the most eager to score in the next minute. A great goal from the side of the pitch game the USA number 13 the honour of putting USA ahead. 3-2 to the USA at half time.
It took only 5 seconds for the USA to go 4-2 ahead, but Greece made it 4-3 next, before the USA tucked away an easy goal to restore their 2 goal lead. The last 4 minutes were thrilling, with the score 5-4, then 5-5 right at the death. The game went to sudden death penalties, where Greece completed the comeback with a 1-0 win. USA looked dejected but participated in a truely phemonenal game of street soccer.
