Uganda (9) v (0) Cameroon

Uganda (9) v (0) Cameroon

Melbourne lived up to its 'four seasons in one day' motto as Uganda defeated Cameroon 9-0 today under sunny skies which later dissolved into a downpour.

Australia's Sheree Daley jumped in as a reserve for Cameroon while the Street Matildas cheered from the sidelines.

Uganda's Rebecca Nakasato opened the scoring taking the first of her five-goal haul for Uganda.

Hasifa Nanyondo and Captain Angel Takaeach scored two more goals each to make up the remaining four.

Cameroon had some good chances in the match, including a long ball forward from the keeper that fell to a well-positioned Daley on the edge of the circle.

Only a great save by the Ugandan keeper stopped Daley's volley finding the back of the net.
