Spain v Norway

Spain (4) v Norway (3)

Norway's strong physical side took on the well experienced Spaniards in a thrilling second round game.

The first half saw Spain produce some very neat goals and controlled defensive constallations, whereas Norway strugglered to keep pace. A comfortable 4-0 nil was taken for granted as the Spaniards reentered the pitch for the second half. A fact, that Norway took advatage of to pass the Spanish keeper 3 times with just a minute to go. They were then awarded a penalty that was well executed by the skipper - the game was now completely open. However, the refereee had spotted the Spanish keeper, Louis, outside the penalty box, so the penalty needed retaking. This time the Norwegian no. 10 steeped up, but only for his effort to bounce off of the post!

An incredibly tense and entertaining match came to an end with the final score being 4-3 to Spain against Norway.
