These Europeans have something of a rivalry when their senior 11-a-side counterparts meet, but it was nothing but mutual respect before this game as the players shook hands and exchanged wishes of good luck. After only 30 seconds Bouchti put Netherlands ahead. In a fast paced match Netherlands proved the superior passing side, knocking it about in an example of superb fair play football. The goals continued to fly in for Netherlands, making the score 6 goals to Spain's 1 going in to half time.
Spain's goalkeeper denied Netherlands the chance to increase their lead in the first two minutes of the second half, before Bouchti knocked in his sixth of the game to make the score 7-1. Following thsi it was end-to-end stuff, before Jonko and Aziz showed no mercy and shot Netherlands ahead 9-1 before the Spanish number 3 got one back for Spain with a stunning strike. Another from Jonko helped Netherlands to a convincing 11-2 victory.
