This match was refereed by the inimitable Kim Milton - his first appearance at the homeless world cup. and he didn't even feel the need to send anyone off! (this is written by a sour Englishman of course!).
The crowd were a little subdued after the excitement of the Denmark game and the stands were somewhat empty.
A fairly cagey beginning was broken by the opening goal from SA. Slovakia pegged them back however and then missed a penalty. at this point it looked like a tight game in store..however SA began to play some sweet football playing quite a few one -twos with the hoardings.. a much underused tactic !
SA pulled away to a 1-7 lead before Slovakia scored the final goal of the game.
