Sweden showed off their fancy footwork in the first minutes of the match, but failed to distract their opposition. Rwandan player Nasera Zuberi slammed a ball through within 30 seconds.
Rwanda's Uwimana Ally was the standout player of the match. This was evident from the beginning when he netted two shots to raise Rwanda's score to 3-0.
Sweden, eager to score, tried to push the ball up their end but Rwanda were too quick on their feet. This resulted in another two goals before half-time.
Sweden excelled in the early moments of the second half of the match, with player Jim Nygaard successfully nailing the team's only goal.
A blue card to Sweden meant they had to persevere through the rest of the match with only three players. Rwanda took advantage and scored three more goals.
