As the game started Russia and Canada was quite even. Both the Russian and the Canadian players kept on a high speed, team play and good passes. Canada did score the first goal, however Russia took their chances and scored five goals in a row, and by half time Russian was in front 5 to 1.
In the start of the second half the speed had dropped, however the Canadian players struggled to score and never gave up hope to win the game. When they scored their third goal, both Russia and Canada raise their game and tempo. The rest of the game was quite rough, as the Canadian players used their physic to make themselves an advantage. Canada did score another goal but so did Russia, and Russian left pitch 1 as winner of the game.
