Portugal defeated Hong Kong 10-2 today in a fantastic display of balletic ball skils and strong, accurate strikes.

The opening goal came from Portugal from a fantastic cross which was safely netted by their star forward.

Portugal followed it up seconds later to make it 2-0.

Portugal showed off a range of skills including feinting and back passing which eluded Hong Kong's defence.

Hong Kong's goalkeeper was on fire but it wasn't enough to stop Portugal's determined onslaught.

Portugal increased the margin to 3-0 with a hefty airborne strike which passed through the goals at great speed.

Portugal continued their reign of fire, bringing the score to 6-0, but a well-judged penalty shot from Hong Kong brought the score to 6-1 at half time.

Hong Kong warmed up after the break to challenge Portugal in defence but the Portuguese didn't slacken off for a moment, displaying their athletic prowess to pound in four more goals.

The highlight of the game came from Portugal's forward who took a scissor kick over his head to land on his back - the shot went wide but the crowd were in raptures.

The win sees Portugal sitting pretty in third place in their group, while the valiant Hong Kong team sits in sisxth place.
