Poland (3) v (7) Ireland
This was probably the toughest game of the day. Both teams played aggressive football and both are convinced to go through.
Dariusz Dziekanovsky, Poland and Glasgow Celtic legend, opened the match with the kick off.
In the second minute Poland missed a penalty but few seconds later they took the lead.Ireland equalized a minute later with a grat goal scored by Dunne.
Before the break Poland scored two impressive goals but Ireland stayed in the match and they scored their second in the dying seconds of the first half.
The Irish equalized early in the second hald, before we witnessed the first sent off of the tournament. McLawrence was temporarily sent off with the blue card but from then the two Irish that remained on the pitch played a wonderful and brave football and they resisted at the Poland attacks.
When McLawrence came back, Ireland continued to play with no fear, and the very skillful forward Myers scored three goals in a row.
Before the end Ireland scored again with Daily and the final score was 7-3 for the Irish.
Finally, two good teams on the pitch but Ireland's bravery gave three points to the Green Island.
