Poland v Hong Kong

Poland (13) v Hong Kong (2)

In a mis-match in terms of physical stature, Poland had to be the favourites going into this game. They started well, putting 3 past Honk Kong in the opening minutes, and Honk Kong found themselves defending for the majority of the time against the relentless attacking of Poland. Despite the difference in strength, Hong Kong's number 10 continuously took on the  extremely strong Polish number 11 and occasionally won the ball off him. The skillful Hong Kong number 14 managed to get one for his team, but they couldn't prevent goals from the Polish numbers 9 and 6 scoring more to make the score 7-1 going in to half time.

More Polish dominance took the score to 10-1 in the second half, with number 11 tucking away a brace for himself. Poland played a physical game but were very fair, clearly aware of their advantage but not taking advantage too much. Instead they played a patient passing game, however they couldn't stop the frisky Honk Kong number 10 from getting his name on the score sheet with a great finish to a quick counter attack. The final score was 13-2 to Poland, but by Hong Kong's celebrations afterwards anyone would have guessed they had won.
